Behavioural Addiction

Many people turn to an addictive behaviour (such as gambling, work or exercise). The key to understanding why is that people often report that this activity fills some form of need, a gap in their life that this activity seems to fill, even if temporarily.

Activities which are thought to be addictive include:

  • Gambling
  • Excercise
  • Extreem Sport
  • Computer Gaming
  • Work
  • Sex
  • Pornography
  • Shopping

While all of these activities are a natural and normal part of life, in excess they can cause a real problem. The fact that they are extensions of normal life makes them more complex than traditional addictions. It is possible to abstain completely from alchohol or drugs, its far more difficult to do that for work or shopping, as you need to do these things in everyday life!

From my own point of view, until that emotional gap you are trying to fill is explored and understood, motivation (or other forms of treatment) may not be as effective as they could be. For understanding yourself Hypnoanalysis has no equal, and could give you the firm foundation you need to start your successful recovery.

Hypnoanalysis empowers your mind to permanently remove the underlying problem. Once the real issue is resolved, the symptom will naturally dissolve away on its own. Analysis is by far the most effective method, but takes more time and effort. Analysis is also completely non–directive because we are simply speeding up your minds own natural healing process rather than programming the mind as with suggestion. With analysis we are talking about a total resolution of the problem, not just the control of symptoms. Pure hypnoanalysis is a unique form of hypnoanalysis which (as far as I am aware) is only practiced by IAPH therapists. Pure hypnoanalysis has been in constant use since 1974 and is thought to help more than 250,000 per year.

Hypnoanalysis can provide a fast and effective solution to anxiety related issues, including addictive behaviour. Hypnoanalysis is a unique form of therapy because:
